The module Structural Engineering teaches the fundamental functions and modes of action of the essential different structures (physical and technical fundamentals) as well as the importance of structural design in the architectural design process in terms of form, function, sustainability and design.

Exercice
In the module Structural Engineering, there will be 3 additional studio supervisions (approx. 4 hours each), 2 pin-ups (approx. 8 hours each) and 1 final presentation (approx. 8 hours). To qualify for the exam, both the design’s structural development and weekly assignments must be successfully completed.
Admission to the exam requires both successful structural planning of the design and passing weekly homework assignments.
