Building & Structure

The Building & Structure seminar examines the functional and effective modes of structural design in more detail. Therefore, the use and the limitations of materials like timber, steel, concrete, and clay will be analysed in detail. In addition, special structures and their load-bearing mechanisms are examined and analysed, which serves to develop and support the designs. As part of the lecture, expert lectures will provide insights into various fields of structural design.
