Our most recent demonstrator of our on-going research on geodesic beam networks for large-scale architecture is finally finsihed and is being showcased for the science week at Kronenplatz in Karlsruhe. 

The timber roof consists out of ten layers of elastically bent and mechanically laminated silver fir lamellas. The roof sits on one of the flax fiber columns, initially developed and manufactured for the Bundesgartenschau in Mannheim, by our industry partner FibR GmbH.
